Obituary for Barbara Daugherty Jones
Jones, Barbara Daugherty, 83 of Topping, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 27, 2019. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Aubrey Jones. She is survived by her two children; Jeffery Scott (Susan) and Kimberly Kennedy (Ted); two brothers, Pat Daugherty (Linda) and Mike Daugherty; as well as three grandchildren, Brian Borkey, Robin Wilcox (Jake) and Lauren Toombs and five great grandchildren. The family would like to express appreciation to Sandy Sodini, Barbara’s caregiver and friend.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 31, 2019 in Harmony Grove Baptist Church, Topping, VA. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
