Obituary for Barbara Jean Thomas
Barbara Jean Thomas, 73, of Hardyville, VA passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020. Barbara was a member of Zoar Baptist Church and for many years was the secretary for the Rappahannock Civic Club and participated in their Food Bank and Bingo. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; Joseph Croxton and Igholdia Werner.
She is survived by her two children; Joseph “Jody” Thomas, and Tammy Saunders; three grandchildren, Ray Carlton III, Ashley Carlton, and Victoria Thomas; and her brother, Tommy Croxton (Lisa).
A memorial service will be held at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 11 a.m. Please be advised that current state guidelines will apply to all in attendance, including social distancing and appropriate face covering.
