Obituary for Betty Louise Marrin
Betty L. Marrin, 72, of Deltaville passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019. She was born and raised on the Southside of Richmond and was of the Baptist faith. Betty was a member of the Middlesex Volunteer Rescue Squad Auxiliary in Deltaville, the thrift shop auxiliary and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She retired from the Virginia Department of Corrections as a sergeant and was a member of the officer’s union.
Survived by her husband, Francis D. Marrin, Sr.; daughters, Kathryn Marrin Cannon and Kimberly Jean Marrin-Fountain; son, Francis D. Marrin, Jr. ; a sister, Barbara Jean Wade; grandchildren, Jennifer, Crystal, Mary Lou, Ryan, Sierra, Josh, Cody, Noah, Hannah, Jacob, Alyssa, Carrie, Hudson, Samantha, Kallah, Reilly and Robyn; great grandchildren, Ainsley, Ethan, Sophia, Regan, Hailey, Ryan and C.J.
A graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the Church of the Visitation Cemetery, Topping, Virginia. Arrangements by Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda.
