Obituary for Betty Ann Minetree
Betty Ann Faulkner Minetree, age 89, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022. The daughter of Morgan and Nellie Faulkner, she was a native of Mathews County VA but had lived in Colonial Heights VA for many years. Betty was employed as an office manager for a local real estate firm and her favorite pastimes were spending time with her daughter and grandchildren and playing bingo.
In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her husband, Willis Minetree; brothers, Robert Faulkner, James Faulkner, Bill Faulkner, and Eddie Faulkner. Survivors include a daughter, Debra Hughes and husband Ivan; granddaughters, Christina Walstrom and husband Rick, Renee Reedy and husband Erik, and Michele Ivey and husband Jeff; 3 great grandsons and 3 great granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 620 Lafayette Avenue, Colonial Heights VA 23832.
