Also surviving is her one-of-a-kind kid sister, Linda Williams, who led her on many adventures. And her marvelous husband, Jim, with whom spent 51 plus years traveling to many ports of call. Brenda graduated from Shawnee Mission Highschool (Johnson County, Ks), attended Baker University (Baldwin, Ks) and was a member of Phi Mu Sorority.

She owned and operated an interior design studio, “Just For You, Designs!”, in Naperville, IL for 20 years.

After moving to Hartfield, VA in 2005, she became a Master Gardner, joined Northern Neck Audubon Society (at one point was Board Secretary) , served on the Middlesex County Public Library Board of Directors, was a member of the Garden Club of Virginia – Middle Peninsula, enjoyed two book club and was a member of Christ Church Parish, Saluda, VA.
