She was married to her loving husband, Robert, for 58 years. She was well known for her exceptional domestic engineering abilities. Her cooking was known throughout the county as well as across the country as many folks were welcomed into her home from all over for meals. In past years, she was also known as the “Coupon Queen”. Mom loved to travel. She loved her yearly trips to the Outer Banks and Maine and bus trips to Pennsylvania. They visited many states and even enjoyed a river cruise in Europe as well as a favorite trip to Israel.

She was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church for most of her life. She and Robert were married there on September 30 after the Sunday church service so we are pleased we can have her visitation there as well to celebrate her life.

She is proceeded in death by her father and mother, Gilbert and Helen Johnson; and her nephew, Webster (Webby) Brooke Jr. She is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Cindy and husband Mark, Jackie and husband Jeff, Bill and wife Jenny, and Amy. She had 4 grand dogs; Buttercup, Ruby, Cutter, and Ernie (favorite).
