Charlene Gayle Wilson Williams, 59, of Middlesex, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020 at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett Wilson and Jacquelyn Ford Jenkins.

She is survived by her two sons, David Williams, Jr. and Brandon Williams (Sara); daughter, Kelley Carias (David); granddaughter, Kayleigh Carias; sister, Deborah Lindsay (Scott); niece, Jacquelyn Thomas; great-niece, Makenzie Wilson; many other extended family members and friends; and her faithful chihuahua, Pheobe.

She spent most of her adult life working in the healthcare industry as a nurse but took a few years off to operate a home daycare when her children were younger. She loved to read romance novels, write, tell stories, paint, craft, and bake Christmas cookies with her granddaughter.

The family will receive visitors from 1-2 p.m. at Saluda Baptist Church on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020. A private memorial service for family members will follow.
