Christine Murphy Anthony, 66, of North, VA passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019. She was born on May 6, 1952 in Middleburg, VA. She was a member of the Jamestowne Society, Colonial Dames of the XVll Century, Lord De La Warr Chapter, was a past Regent of the Cricket Hill Chapter, NSDAR, was past president and was currently serving as First Vice President of the Captain Sally Thompkins Chapter 2626 UDC. She was a homemaker as well as a secretary/ bookkeeper for Anthony’s Auto Center, the family business. In retirement she was greatly involved in historical societies. She loved history, genealogy, travel, and dogs.

She is predeceased by her mother Willa Murphy, father Joseph Murphy and grandmother Mildred Barr. She is survived by her husband Vassill Anthony; daughter Katina Anthony Porter (Douglas); a son J. Matthew Anthony (Susan); a granddaughter Elizabeth Eve Porter and her beloved dogs Murphy and Jack.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 5 -7 pm at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, VA. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 1 pm at Saumsville Christian Church, 2035 Saumsville Rd., Maurertown, VA 22644.
