Deborah M. “Debbie” Whitt, 76, of Mathews, Virginia passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023. Debbie was part owner of Whitt Corporation and also involved in the office and management part of the business. She was an outstanding artist, a volunteer with the Humane Society, and an unbelievable wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen Whitt; her children, Kevin Whitt (Julie Walker) and Kim Hopkins (Brian); grandchildren, Andrew Hopkins (Megan), Kersten Walker, and Heather Hopkins; great-grandchildren, Jude, Lily, and Hadley Hopkins.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church, Onemo, Virginia. Interment will follow at H.C. Smither Memorial Cemetery, Hudgins, Virginia.
