Obituary for Dennis "Denny" Carr
Dennis “Denny” William Carr, 82, of Myrtle Beach, formerly of Deltaville, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022.
A long-time resident of Deltaville, Denny was a beloved member of the community and a respected businessman. He enjoyed spending time with his family and is well-known for his great sense of humor. He will be loved and missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his son, Richard “Ricky” Carr; his parents, Clifford and Marie Carr; and his brother Gerald “Jerry” Carr.
Denny is survived by his wife of 57 years, Virginia “Ginny” Carr; his son, Scott Carr (Mariel); daughter, Debbie Romonouskas (Dave); grandchildren Tyler, Julia, Sophia, Amber, and Ashley; and great-grandchildren Ascher, Stassi, and Ricky.
A celebration of life service is planned for 10:00am, Saturday, July 23 at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda. A graveside service follows at Philippi Memorial Gardens, Deltaville. The family welcomes you to join them afterwards for fellowship at the Deltaville Community Center.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to your local animal shelter to honor his lifetime love for animals.
At the request of the family, no suits, dress shirts, or ties at the service. Please dress casually.
