Obituary for Dennis White
Dennis White, (Pop), 64 of Water View, VA went to be with the Lord and was greeted with open arms by his father, Haskel S. White on June 19, 2019. Dennis was born in Tennessee, grew up in Yorktown and graduated from Munich HS, Germany and studied at Christopher Newport University. He retired from White Enterprises. Dennis’ natural talent and passion for music was boundless, he played piano, guitar and sang his heart out!
His grandchildren were his pride and joy, Poppy stayed busy running them up and down the road. He never knew a stranger; his joy came from helping others. Pop and Meme enjoyed spending time at the beach, their shared love for food, dancing and each other. They were like peanut butter and jelly!
He is survived by his wife, Beverly White of 28 years; daughter, Andrea Adams; son, Jerry Adams; grandsons, Christian Baker, Ceasar Adams, Kian & Talon Cheatham; granddaughters, Heaven & Ella Adams. He is also survived by his mother, Verlyn White; sister, Debbie Macintosh (Doug) and a host of loved ones.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday June 29th, at Hermitage Baptist Church, Church View. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Upper Middlesex Fire Department, PO Box 75 Church View, VA 23032. Arrangements by Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda, VA.
