Obituary for Doris Coley Clements (Coley)
Doris Coley Clements, 91, of Moon, Virginia passed away on Sunday May 21, 2023.
Doris loved and enjoyed many things during her life such as sewing, knitting, traveling and RV camping. She retired from nursing and traveled the country with her husband, Harry in their RV for many years.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband Harry Norman Clements, Jr. and her son Harry “Norman” Clements, III. She is survived by her daughter LuAnne Clements Knuteson; her sons Joseph Coley Clements and Thomas Kevin Clements; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and a host of other loving family members.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday May 26 at Mathews Baptist Church, Hudgins, VA. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, May 27, at Newington Baptist Church Cemetery, Gloucester, VA. There will be a reception at Mathews Baptist Church’s fellowship hall following the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford, 600 College Street, Oxford, NC 27565.
Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews is assisting the family with arrangements.
