Obituary for Horace Bartlett Courtney
Horace Bartlett Courtney, age 89, of King & Queen Courthouse, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020. He was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church, Topping, Va. He was the founder of Courtney Flooring.
Horace was predeceased by his wife, Mary Jane Courtney; a daughter, Jeanette Rose Davis; two sons, Horace Jackson Courtney and David Mark Courtney. He is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Jane Courtney, Julie Marie Courtney and one devoted, Shirley Ann Gibson (Robert); ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 3pm on February 9th, 2020 at Harmony Grove Baptist Church, Topping, Va with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda.
