James Edward Davis, 73, of Tappahannock and Mechanicsville passed away Monday, June 17, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Maggie Davis and a brother, Irvin Davis. James is survived by his son and daughter in law, Jamie and Sarah Davis, two grandsons, Ethan (Brittany) Davis and Kaleb Davis, one great-grandson, Cooper Davis all of Dunnsville; three brothers, Melvin Davis of Laneview, Eugene Davis of Caret and Elwood Davis of Dunnsville; and James’s companion Rose Tate of Mechanicsville.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2019 in the Faulkner Funeral Home, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock with Pastor Mark Miller officiating.
