Obituary for Janet Haynes Abrams
Janet Haynes Abrams went to be with her heavenly Father on Saturday, August 3, 2019. Janet was born on August 8, 1939 to Wyndom Randolph “Rannie” Haynes and Hilda Milby Haynes. She was predeceased by her parents and her 2 brothers, Wyndom and Sherwood Haynes. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Thomas Abrams; 2 daughters, Trinia Timberlake (Jerry) and Tracey Sorey (Robby); 3 grandchildren, Abigail Sorey, Jarett Timberlake and Emily Sorey; 2 sisters-in law, Kathryn Haynes and Barbara Crockett and several nieces and nephews.
Janet’s family would like to thank the staff of Riverside Walter Reed Hospice, especially the two special angels who walk on this earth, Gina Rowe and Pam Hudson who provided loving care to Janet for nearly one year.
There will be a Memorial Service on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 2:00pm at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00pm prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Janet's name to Riverside Walter Reed Hospice, 7358 Main Street, Gloucester, Virginia 23061.
