John Kistler Crum, 82 of Cobbs Creek, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019. He was born on July 28, 1936 in Brownsville, Texas to John M. and Mary L. Kistler Crum. After receiving his B.S from the University of Texas in 1960 he went on to receive his Ph.D. in 1964, also at the University of Texas, before continuing on and graduating from the Advanced Management Program in 1975 at Harvard University. Among his numerous accomplishments he was the Executive Director for American Chemical Society from 1983 to 2003 and President and CEO of Quinta Associates, LLC from 2004 until his retirement.
