John William Davis, Sr. “Sweet Pea”, 92, of Tappahannock passed away Monday, April 8, 2019. He was a retired mechanic for B & S Chevrolet. Sweet Pea was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Taylor Davis, his parents, Joseph and Lucy Davis, brothers, Elwood Joe Lee, Richard Lee Davis and his twin, Woodford B. Davis. He is survived by his son, John William Davis Jr. Tappahannock, his half-brother, James Beazley of Dunbrooke and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2019 in the Faulkner Funeral Home, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock with Pastor Charlie Ryan officiating. Interment following in Essex Cemetery. Pallbearers are Corey Beazley, Warner Beazley, Wayne Johnson, David Johnson, Ernie Schefflien and Tommy Taylor.
