John I. French, 93, of Tappahannock passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 at his residence. He was a World War II Navy Veteran. John is survived by his wife, Mable French; three sons, John C. French (Brenda Jean) of Bruington, Larry James French and Paul Galen French both of Stafford; one sister, Linda “Sis” French of Heathsville; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the graveside in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fredericksburg.
