Obituary for John Richard Walker
John Richard Walker, "Santa", 74, died peacefully at home on June 22, 2020. He was the widower of Linda Faye Walker.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Stella Sydnor Walker; granddaughters, Brittany Joy Brown and Bella Lunaria Biskerski; and his brother, Charles Walker.
He is survived by 10 children; Shelley Starcher (Kimball), John R. Walker Jr. (Raquel), Michael Davenport, Kelley Daniels (Steve), Bonnie Cantrell (Tim), Traci Brown (Grady), Mandi Biskerski, Kerri Bridges (Jerry), Trevor Walker (Jennifer), Brandie Tice (Joseph); 40 grandchildren (spouses) and 13 great grandchildren as well as a slew of nieces and nephews.
John dedicated his life to serving the Lord, his family, and shining the love of Jesus to everyone he met. He also had a lifelong passion for the drums and playing in the Praise Band.
He was a member of Center Cross Church of God, yet he loved any church that worshipped his Father in Heaven.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020, at Living Waters Church in Dutton, VA, at 4:00 p.m.
