Obituary for Judith Williams Mitchem
Judith W. Mitchem, 82, of Mathews, Virginia passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019. She was member of the United Methodist Women of Salem United Methodist Church. Judith loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also was a babysitter for the church members and friends of her community.
She is predeceased by her husband, Walter Russell Mitchem, Sr.; a son, Kevin Lee Mitchem and a daughter-in-law Janice Lee Mitchem. She is survived by 2 sons, Walter Russell Mitchem, Jr. (Sue) and Dale Scott Mitchem (Sherin).
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Salem United Methodist Church, Diggs, Virginia. A Funeral Service will be held at the church on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 11:00 am, with burial to follow at Windsor Gardens Cemetery, Dutton, VA. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia assisted the family with the arrangements.
