Obituary for Leftwich Stone
Leftwich L. (Lefty) Stone, 92, of Topping, VA died on Saturday, May 8, 2021. He was born in Richmond, Va. and lived in Henrico County until 1988 when he moved to Topping.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles L. and Jennie Ransone Stone, and his brother, Vernon Stone. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Jean Bradley Stone, daughter Sandra Holloway and her husband Robert, son Mark Stone, granddaughter Morgan Bartkowski and her husband Ryan and 2 great grandchildren.
He graduated from Old Glen Allen High School in 1947. For 22 years he worked for A&P Tea Company and later retired after 20 years as secretary/treasurer for W. W. Lefews Food Broker. He loved fishing the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 22 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel in Saluda, Va. Contributions may be made to an animal shelter of your choice.
