Linda Faye Walker, 71, died peacefully at home on October 26, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mary Walling; brother, Richard Walling Jr.; and granddaughters, Brittany Joy Brown and Bella Lunaria Biskerski.
She is survived by her husband of 55 wonderful years, John R Walker. Their union culminated in 10 children, Shelley Starcher (Kimball), John R. Walker Jr. (Raquel), Michael Davenport, Kelley Daniels (Steve), Bonnie Cantrell (Tim), Traci Brown (Grady), Mandi Biskerski (Frank), Kerri Bridges (Jerry), Trevor Walker (Jennifer), Brandie Tice (Joseph); 39 grandchildren (spouses) and 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Larry Walling (Mary), Sandra Mays (Tony) and Betty Peavey; and a slew of nieces and nephews.
Linda dedicated her life to serving the Lord, her family, and shining the love of Jesus to everyone she met.
She was a member of Center Cross Church of God, yet she loved any church that worshipped her Father in Heaven.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at Living Waters Church in Dutton, VA, at 11:00am. Closed-casket visitation will be at 10:00am. Interment will be for family members. A reception will follow at Living Waters Church for anyone who wants to visit with the family.
