Obituary for Lindsey Bareford
Temple Lindsey Bareford, 89, of Tappahannock, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022. He was a member of Beale Memorial Baptist Church. He was also a veteran of the United States Army, and served in the Korean War.
Lindsey was preceded in death by his son, T.L. Bareford, Jr. and brother Calvin “Jimmy” Bareford.
He was survived by his “Honey” of 69 years, Kathleen Stokes Bareford; daughters, Wanda Sue Chisenhall (Gary), Amanda Y. Faina; brothers, James Bareford (Thelma), Bobby Bareford (Barbara); sisters, Betty Courtney, Brenda Kent (Robert); grandchildren, Brian Heath Bareford (Danielle), Morgan Livingston (Sean), Brittany Oliver (Taylor), Kennedy Faina (Jayme), and great-grandsons, J.T. Bareford and Carter Wayne Oliver.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December, 3rd, 2022 at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Essex Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Beale Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund at P.O. Box 816, Tappahannock, Virginia 22560.
