Obituary for Mary Ann Crane
Mary Ann Crane, 87 passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Commonwealth Assisted Living in Farnham, Va. Born on December 13, 1931 in Baltimore, Md and raised in Newport News, Va. She was a longtime resident of Wake, Va, and a member of Lower United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Granville Crane and one sister, Doris Mitchell. Mary Ann is survived by her three daughters, Cynthia Wilson (Bobby), Wanda Henschen (Tom), and Laurie Billings; 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
She held various administrative positions at local banks for much of her adult life and worked side by side with Granville in operating Crane Printing.
A visitation with family and friends will be held Friday, August 2nd from 10 a.m.-noon at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Alzheimers Association at www.alz.org. Arrangements by Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda, VA.
