Obituary for Mary Anne Morrow
Mary Anne Morrow, born Oct. 5, 1940, to Gladys “Irene” Grinnell Hudgins and Charles Victor Hudgins, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023.
She spent most of her life in Newport News, VA, where she met her husband, Roy Lee Morrow, Sr., and lived nearby her mother and stepfather, George Baxter Engleburt.
After graduating from Newport News High School, she attended Pan American Business College in Richmond. After she received her C.P.A. degree, she worked for Newport News Steel and Spooners Salvage located in Newport News, VA.
The family moved to Mathews in 1969 and continue to reside there. Mary was later employed by Marine Service Group in Deltaville and Mathews. She was also a wonderful homemaker and cook and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her sons, Roy Lee Morrow, Jr and G.C. Morrow (Renee Webb) and also her grandson, Brandon Lee James Webb.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Pear Tree Cemetery, Onemo. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews is assisting the family.
