Pauline H. Frye, 83, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 7, 2023 with her family by her side. “Polly” was preceded in death by her daughter, Faye Ann Carlton, her parents, and several siblings.

Polly was retired from a long and successful nursing career. After retirement, Polly, an avid bingo player continued to serve her community by volunteering at local food banks, working blood drives, and volunteering to pack backpack lunches for local children. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and sending cards and meals to those in need in the community.

Polly is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Jerry Lee Frye; children, Rusty Carlton (Kay) and Kathy Carlton Ogg (Cliff). Polly is also survived by the true loves of her life, her grandchildren, Russ Carlton, Maria Ogg Burton (Chase) and Millie Carlton.

A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, May 11, at 1:00 p.m. at Ephesus Baptist Church, Dunnsville Virginia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
