Obituary for Richard Wayne Ragland
Richard Wayne Ragland, 71, of Center Cross, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023. He stepped into eternity and was reunited with family and friends as he was ushered into the presence of his Lord and Savior.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearlene and Hugh Ragland, and his brothers, Stuart and Raymond Ragland.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carolyn Ragland; stepdaughter, Wanda Gibbs (Tito); his granddaughter, Kimberly Gibbs Jeter (Lamar); grandchildren, Anthony, Isaac, and Landon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 5-8:00 p.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, 206 N. Church Lane, Tappahannock, VA, 22560. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ephesus Baptist Church, Dunnsville, Virginia. A reception will be held at the church after the interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ephesus Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1109, Dunnsville, Virginia, 22454.
