Obituary for Rosie Lee Parham (Adams)
Rosie Lee Parham, (Memaw), 85, of Hartfield, VA went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 14th, 2021. She attended Gospel Lighthouse Church of Plainview, VA. Rosie was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert E. Parham, Brother, Clint Adams, Sister Jewell Adams, and Pastor’s Ike, and Evelyn Addington.
Rosie is survived by her siblings: Betty Cope; Joanne Lyons and Gary Adams, her children: Herbert G. Parham Sr. (Sherry) of Hampton; Bruce E. Parham Sr. (Sandy) of Newport News; Carol Rohrbach (Bobby) of Saluda; and Drew Parham (Lynn) of Poquoson, Adoptive Daughter, Frances Belvin (Edward) of Hayes, Grandchildren, Bruce E. Parham Jr. (Jennifer); Myra Augustine (Chris), April Bridges; Beth Plyler (Josh); Beau Rohrbach; Herbert G. Parham Jr. (Melissa); and Great-Grandchildren: Trip III, Kingston, Jenna, Justin, Michael, Kyrie, Preston, Zachary, Chanel and Anthony.
Rosie was a wonderful Sister, Wife, Mother and Memaw to her family. She loved to sing for God, ministering to others with her church family. In her last days, her final wish for her loved ones is to “Love and be good to one another”. She wants everyone to have an opportunity to know and accept Jesus Christ in their hearts as their Lord and Savior, so that you may one day see her again.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 12 O’clock noon, Wednesday January 20th, 2021, at Hampton Memorial Gardens in Hampton, VA with Pastor Leroy Davis officiating.
Please be advised that current state-mandated guidelines will apply to all in attendance, including social distancing and appropriate face coverings.
