Obituary for Stephen Wayne "Steve" Price
On Friday, September 16, 2022, Stephen "Steve" Wayne Price, husband, father, grandfather and brother, has passed away. He was 78 years old.
Born to Millard Gwathmey and Thelma Rosalind Price, Steve was a retired professional firefighter lieutenant where he received numerous letters of commendation. He was also a retired business owner and boatyard master in Deltaville VA. It was here that he met his wife, Deborah. Steve was an active Life Member of the NRA, and a Freemason of the Grand Lodge of Virginia.
Steve is survived by his wife Deborah, sons Christopher, Troy and his wife Angela, stepson Chad and his wife Cherie, grandchildren Morgan, Emmalyn, Andrew, Isaiah, Amelia, and Micah; and sisters Gwendolyn and Glenith.
A memorial service will be held at Clarksbury United Methodist Church at 2 p. m. on November 12, 2022, 15924 General Puller Hwy, Hardyville, VA 23070.
