Obituary for Steven "Stevie" Wade Smith
Steven Wade Smith, "Stevie", age 56, of Tappahannock passed away on March 28, 2023.
He is survived by Danielle Reegan, Tina Smith, his kids, Alex Edwards, Ian Edwards, Samantha Smith; sons-in-law, Daniel Moreno, Justin Ambrose; daughter-in-law, Kate Hardman; nephews, Jamie Headley, Michael Martin; nieces, Sandra Walsh, Amanda Gomez, McKayla Gomez, K’Lee Jo Smith; best friend, Robert Ramsey; sister-in-law, Kimberly Carter and his grandkids who were his pride and joy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Roy Smith, Florence Smith (Stowell) "Memaw"; brother Kenny Smith; sister, Dinah Martin and best friend "brother" Wayne Zambella.
Steve loved to tell entertaining stories, sometimes with a hint of exaggeration. He was also a ticket master with endless tickets to the "gun show" and was known for his huge breakfasts that he made for his grandkids, who will definitely miss Grandaddy's pancakes. Steve will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00pm on Saturday, April 15th, 2023 at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, 206 N. Church Lane, Tappahannock, VA 22560. If you wish to send flowers, please send them to the funeral home.
