Obituary for William Franklin "Dicky" Sibley
William Franklin Sibley, 83 of Topping, Virginia passed peacefully at home on Saturday, September 26th, 2020.
He was born in Middlesex County on August 12th, 1937 and was a lifelong resident. He worked for the Virginia Department of Transportation for 35 years and finished his career with 20 years at the Hartfield Convenience Center. Dicky’s passions were his family, his love of tractors, and riding his bicycle.
Dicky was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Patsy Lee Sibley, his children Curtis Sibley, Bobby Sibley, Sarah Sibley, and Margarette McGraw. He is also survived by his sisters, Jean Hayden and Peggy Sanford, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 29th, 2020 at Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Topping. Arrangements by Faulkner Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda.
